POKER CLASSIC...
Thank you to all our Poker Classic players -
it was an incredible evening with seven 50" flat screen
plasma televisions given away!
An innovative benefit with tremendous success!

Silent Auction and Gala
Heart in Hand Restaurant
A sold-out event, widely attended by residents across
Fairfax County - a HUGE thank you to all donors,
attendees, bidders and winners for helping make
the evening not only a great night out but a very helpful
benefit to save Clifton Elementary!

Advocacy at the ballot box!

Friends of Community Schools will help you
advocate in the political process and elect officials
who represent the residents and taxpayers of Fairfax
County in supporting and strengthening community-centered schools!   Southwestern County and Annandale residents are particularly vulnerable to impact due to the widespread FCPS Boundary Studies! School Board elections are November 2011.

Parents are the primary educators of their children; support candidates who share this belief! While donations are not tax-deductible (UPDATE: Please stay tuned - we are creating a foundation to help with this) ~ help us help you and YOUR community school!
